Update — March 23, 2020
During this time of stress and worry we at James W. Shea Law Firm are continuing to provide needed legal services to our clients (both new and old).
With limited access to courts, we continue to meet with clients telephonically, by email, and when necessary, in person. Law firms are permitted to continue operations under Governor Lamont’s essential services order.
We are concerned for our health and the health of our clients so we are taking all steps available to limit contact with people, sterilize surfaces in the office, practice social distancing on our own time to limit outside contacts and thereby limit the spread of Covid-19.
With that in mind we know that you are concerned that your legal needs are met.
Wills, health care proxies, living wills and power of attorney authorizations seem to be on the minds of many people these days. Financial concerns have prompted many calls regarding bankruptcy and foreclosure actions. We will be happy to provide any information and services to help calm your concerns.
Please do whatever is necessary for the health and well-being of yourselves and your families.
Warm regards,
Jim Terri Betty
